Brewery Kiosk Days, Tours and Tastings

Built it and they will come!

Destination is certainly the end goal – but for now Duration is solely a small batch beer factory – a production facility. We work with regional distributors to get our beers to trade and a host of lovely bars and specialist bottle shops up and down the country who serve our beer to the public.

Our current focus is developing our everyday and agricultural range of pale ales and pilsners, while we tuck away some slow and spontaneous beers in our wood division for later release. Expect defined, balanced and quality focused modern takes on traditional styles inspired by the nature and agriculture that surrounds us at Abbey Farm, West Acre.

We sell direct to the public via our online store. With requests to ‘pop by’ locally, nationally and internationally we’ve done a little head scratch to come up with 3 ways you can get beer at source and visit Duration in 2020:

1) Online / Click & Collect

Our online store is open 24/7 orders by noon to beers next day – straight from our cold store. The freshest, quickest way to get your mits on latest our releases in their best condition. Free shipping on orders over £50 – add mobile for a 1hr delivery slot text. Double walled branded boxes with inserts protect your order and make for lovely gifts.

A new click and collect feature in the online store is a  ‘collect at the brewery’ delivery option. If you are a local wanting a top up or on holiday in Norfolk this option is for you. Order at least a day before required and collect during our brewery operational hours of Mon-Fri 10-4.

2) Tours & Tastings at the Tap

We’re busy building a modest tasting room in our wood division – the wooden cart shed that adjoins the main brewery’s stone barn. From here folk can stop in for a gentle half while looking out over the priory ruins or book in for a Saturday afternoon guided tour that end with a tutored tasting of 3 beers. We’re on popular walking and cycle routes and near a lovely river swimming spot so we’ll also offer cans to take away.

We’ll officially open our tasting room with a brewery launch party on 4th July. Tours will open via an online book system at Easter. Please sign up to our mailing list to receive hear more about both.

3) Brewery Kiosk Days

In the cooler months we hold brewery kiosk days. A monthly occasion that coincides with having fresh beer to release. On kiosk days we roll up the shutters (or in our case open our big barn doors) for a few hours to give beer enthusiasts and locals an opportunity to swing by for take away supplies. Check instagram nearer the time to see what beers will be available at each kiosk release day

Next kiosk openings:

  • 24th Feb – 12-3pm (Plus a coolship brew with our Carolinian brewing buddies Fonta Flora)
  • 7th Mar – 12-3pm (3 brand new beers releasing Baubles of Vanity, Task at Hand and Little Fanfare)

We hope to catch you at the brewery or out at a beer event soon. Big thanks to the photographers Tom Stapley, Theresa Undine, and Henry Mueller and our biggest local fans Peter & Chris captured here.
