CRAFTY-CRAFTY @ DURATION BREWERY

Drink Together. Make Together. Try something new. Meet New People. Local artists Rosy Prue, Carolyn Ash and Esther Wildsmith have designed some unique drop in sessions to get crafty with us this summer.

WHAT

Come try your hand at collaging with our labels, making embossed decorations with our beer cans, weaving with looms made from beer mats or using mosaic techniques to make drinks coasters!

Our makers will bring every thing you need for these drop ins. We’ll bring the drinks and we’ve some great food trucks pulling up.No previous experience needed. Pay what you can – recommended min £5 for the makers materials and expertise.

WHO

Make an afternoon of it come solo or with friends. All ages and levels welcome! Super inclusive activities aimed at adults with a focus on making, connecting + repurposing. Children most welcome to join in when accompanied by a supervising adult.

JUNE

Rosy will guide you to use painted and repurposed papers and beer-can stickers to create a unique collaged image.

Sun 22 YES YOU CAN! – ORNAMENT MAKING with 00 Pizza Co
Rosy will help you turn recycled beer-cans into embossed sun decorations in celebration of the upcoming summer solstice!

Sun 29 JUST COASTIN’ – COASTER MAKING with The Cabin Norfolk (Tacos + Wings)
Join Carolyn to make your very own beer mat using ceramics, glass and – bring your jam jar lids from home if you have some!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Come try your hand at making your own unique keepsake using recycled beer cans, labels and other repurposed materials.

No booking is needed + you can take your creations home with you.

Hosted wonderfully talented local designers and creatives who each have studios you can visit right here at Abbey Farm.

Rosy, Carolyn and Ester will bring all the materials needed for each session setting up camp on our sun trap of a courtyard.

CAN CHILDREN DO CRAFTY-CRAFTY?

Yes! While the classes are designed for adults, children are welcome too if accompanied by a supervising adult who will help keep things safe and enjoyable for all.

CAN ANYONE JOIN IN?

Yes! Sessions are open to all! No previous experience needed. Designed to be fun and laid back, as much about socialising as making.

DO I NEED TO BOOK?

Nope! These sessions are drop in only just come on over and pull up a chair.

HOW MUCH ARE THE SESSIONS?

Rosie, Carolyn + Esther are bringing all the materials and their expertise and giving their time freely for your pleasure.

Payment is by donation only (pay what you can).

We recommend £5 per person as a minimum.
