Lap of Anglia Sportive – Family Day
We are delighted to be the 2026 base camp for the Lap of Anglia Sportive. An annual charity cycling sportif in East Anglia organised by Paul Tibbs and John Bradley.

Since organising their first ‘Lap’ in 2013 Paul and John have raised over £337k for the East Anglian Air Ambulance – The UK’s first 24hr emergency medical helicopter service who keep two helicopters over Anglia’s broad land mass saving lives – at a cost of £3750 per mission. This year Duration Brewing are delighted to be supporting their cause offering up our venue as the Lap of Anglia’s base for the day.
Fear not instead of the usual 4 day / 400+mile event this years Sportive will be a one day family affair to bring all ages and abilities together, featuring varied routes, coffee and food vans and a much deserved post ride beer at our idyllic taproom.

All routes will be signposted and available as Garmin/Wahoo files for those with navigating cycle computers.
A feed stop will be provided on the 60/70/100 miles routes.
**Children under the age of 12 to be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the ride. Aged 13-17 may ride unaccompanied with a completed parental consent form.
BASECAMP
At our base camp we’ll have pre and post caffine fixes courtesy of the talented Ginger and Blue and for when you get peckish 00Pizza and Churros and Chirozo will be on hand for refreshments.
Our friends at Woods Cycles in Mundesley will be on site for incredible bikes and accessories to buy and of course all the beer, drinks and snacks will be available on Duration’s open from 10am – along with their shop for take away drinkies.
