We’re on the new Rebellion Way Cycle Route | Eastern Daily Press
Cycling UK have just launched Rebellion Way a new 233 mile cycle route following the warrior queen Boudicca’s chariot track across East Anglia. Duration are on the map and at the ready to meet you with bike repair tool kits, bike racks and BEER at our brewery taproom!
We are thrilled that our brewery taproom is a Cycle Friendly Accredited venue on the new cycle route by Cycling UK making us a welcomed stop in the idyllic Norfolk countryside.
Being sustainably minded rural brewery we already welcome dozens of cyclist from near and far, we’ve even had people set off from Wakefield to us via bike! The Cycle Friendly Accreditation means Duration Brewing is on the map for cyclists to pit stop, refill water, securely lock and repair their bike, and even take a shower! Oh and of course to stop in for a beer in our family friendly and fully wheelchair accessible taproom.
The route offers riders a wide range of terrain and the opportunity to explore Norfolk’s rich history dating back to Boudicca’s era in 61AD! Our brewhouse is surrounded by West Acre priory ruins from the time of Henry VIII and likely built from the former priory stones.

On joining ‘Cycle Friendly Places’ initiative, our co-founder Miranda Hudson, says:
Lots of cyclists already ride out to our farmhouse brewery taproom which is why we signed up. Being tucked away in a historic stone barn, along a chalk river, by old priory ruins Duration is a hidden gem to discover on the road less travelled.
Miranda continues:
The Rebellion Way is great at encouraging sustainable tourism without spoiling the rural idyll.
At Duration welcomed dozens of cyclists to the Brewery for our Tap Days and look forward to welcoming many more!
