Is there a stout renaissance going on? We’re seeing alot more than Guinness out there and heaps on the hand pumps too.

Beer writer and published author Adrian Tierney-Jones’ was kind enough to include our Ebb + Flow 4.8% American Stout in the Daily Star, for his Think Outside the Box piece on the myriad of stours out there. Adrian is an award-winning beer journalist, who kindly featured three of our beers in his book United Kingdom of Beer.

When describing us and our beer in the article he wrote

…Duration makes its superb beers in the middle of rural Norfolk and this is an American-style stout that has plenty going on to make the taste-buds sing. Pitch black in colour, there is a light roastiness, citrus and fresh pone on the nose, while the full bodied palate delvers an excellent balance of grapefruit, espresso and more pine on the palate before its bittersweet finish.
