Untappd Winners

We’re very happy to announce that we have won not one but seven awards with Untappd the consumer rating app for beer lovers! A very nice start to spring, to be recognised by such an esteemed awarding body – none other than you the general public of beer drinkers. It’s huge testament to the hard work of the team and dedication to the good beer we strive for at Duration.

What’s more we are thrilled that we are getting the best ratings on our lagers, lambic and cask beers – 3 lagers scooped awards this year, 3 Lambic styles and our first ever Cask medal. We also held our position with some of our previously awarded beers earning a double accolade via Untappd!

Double Accolade – Harvest Bier #1 Marzen in England last year and came i #3 this year – we release a new vintage each year in August ahead of Oktoberfest, this is the third award for this guy!

Double Accolade – Nostalgia #1 California Common in England last year we believe creating a copy cat of others brewing this style. Brewer Virginia scooped #3 this year and citing Anchor Steam (also a Cali Common) as the beer that made her want to become a brewer that she first sipped in the USA 15 years ago. Second medal on this guy.

Double Accolade – Fold & Fly #2 Other Lager in England last year – a collab with Manchester wizards Balance fellow lovers of Lambic-style beers and we think quite a genre bending style to boot. Scooped #3 this year.

Double Accolade – Tracing Time #3 Belgian Strong Dark Ael in England – what’s more this one has also scooped best bottled stout in East Anglia two years in a row.

First Accolade – On The Ball #3 Gluten Free Lager in England – what’s more this beer helps charity every time you drink one! Available online HERE

First Accolade – Oak + Jay #3 Honey Beer in England – Lambic and Local Honey. So niche we love it!

First Accolade – Citra + Cascade Golden Ale #2 Blond / Golden Ale in Endland – our first ever cask medal whoop!

These are £25 per person and run every first Saturday of the month with 30mins learning about the brew process in the brewery before sitting down to a tutored tasting of 4 fresh beers in the taproom. Comes with a keepsake glass and 10% of any purchases in the shop.
