Untappd Winners

We’re very happy to announce that we have won not one but five awards with Untappd the consumer rating app for beer lovers! A very nice start to spring, to be recognised by such an esteemed awarding body – none other than you the general public of beer drinkers. It’s huge testament to the hard work of the team and dedication to the good beer we strive for at Duration.

What’s more we are thrilled that we are getting the best ratings on our lagers – 4 scooping awards and rarer beer styles like Virginia’s California Common a homage to Anchor Steam arguably the world’s first Craft beer.

Gold – Harvest Bier #1 Marzen in England – we release a new vintage each year in August ahead of Oktoberfest, this is the second award for this guy!

Gold – Nostalgia #1 California Common in England – and our first accolade for brewer Virginia who brewed this citing Anchor Steam (also a Cali Common) as the beer that made her want to become a brewer that she first sipped in the USA 15 years ago.

Silver – Tmavé Pivo #2 Czech Dark in England – a collab with the Bristol lager legends Lost & Grounded and available online HERE

Silver – Fold & Fly #2 Other Lager in England – a collab with Manchester wizards Balance fellow lovers of Lambic-style beers and available online HERE

Bronze – Good Times #3 American Light in England – originally a collab with Manchester Stalwarts Cloudwater back in 2021 this went on to be runner up in beer of the year last year and as our best seller by volume we are thrilled our core lager has scooped an award. Available online HERE

These are £25 per person and run every first Saturday of the month with 30mins learning about the brew process in the brewery before sitting down to a tutored tasting of 4 fresh beers in the taproom. Comes with a keepsake glass and 10% of any purchases in the shop.
